Not only was QT there wadering around through the audience and talking to everyone (!), but come to find out (through the Talk Back) that so was Rodriguez. Jeez...who do I have to kill to get there?
Most interesting of all, though, was QT's comment about the WWII film NOT being his next. Guess that means 40 Lashes is the next one again? Gotta get that page up soon.

'Hey Harry,
Keith Partridge here.I just opened this weeks television schedule from the Columbus Dispatch and inside there was a section called Vital Statistics, where an actors personal info is given every week. This weeks was Michael Madsen and when asked what his current projects are,the first one he mentioned was Quentin Tarantino's "World War II",which is what he calls a reworking of The Dirty Dozen. The war film is not anything new,but I haven't heard anything about Madsen being involved up till now.He made no mention of anyone else, including Adam Sandler,so Lord knows who else will be in this, but apparantly it has a title now.Anyways, thought you and everyone else would like to know that.Keep up the good work and stay cool.
Keith Partridge'
Well, the title isn't exactly all that great(I'm sure it's just a working title), but what is is the fact that Madsen's gonna be in it. He gave, in my opinion, the best performance of anyone in any of Tarantino's films as Mr. Blonde in Dogs, and it's great to see that they're finally going to be working together again.

Just read this interesting tidbit about Quentin Tarantino`s next film behind the camera.A showbiz reporter, claiming that he talked to him at the pre-Oscar Miramax, in a english paper wrote "Ouentin Tarantino told me he is writing a part for comedy man Adam Sandler in his Spaghetti Western meets World War II film which he describes as a homage to the Dirty Dozen." Tarantino said "The Dirty Dozen is going to be my template, just as Reservoir Dogs was my heist film nod to The Killers. I`ve got a bunch of guys fighting the Nazis, and there`s a part for Adam Sandler, and I hope he`ll be crazy enough to do it."
This would make sense, seeing as Quentin's going to be appearing in the upcoming Sandler flick Little Nicky. Nothing against Sandler, but I can't picture him in a Tarantino film. Could work, though, if done right. I guess.

The following came in from AB KING... AICN and internet pulse reader of the careers of Arnold... and Stallone. He sent in this bit which is from an interview with Arnold in England. And... frankly I have a comment on this scoop. If you notice this scoop says that Arnold is waiting on a script to be finished for a Dirty Dozen type of movie that both he and Stallone would do for basically free, if he loves the script when it's done. If this report from AB KING can be trusted, and I see no reason why not, then it is my belief (speculation, gut instinct) that this project would be the Tarantino WWII movie that he's writing. I've heard from people that Tarantino has described this film that he's writing on as being his DIRTY DOZEN type of thing... his GUNS OF NAVARONE.... his men on a mission movie.

Producer Lawrence Bender is going public with word on Quentin Tarantino’s next potential film project. Confirming recent rumors on AICN, Bender revealed, "Quentin has just finished an incredible screenplay for a Second World War movie. We're planning to shoot it next year." Bender also revealed that there has been at least one big problem with Tarantino’s hopes of bringing the British comic strip character Modesty Blaise to the big screen. Bender says, "We just can't get a screenplay we like. When we do, it should be no problem casting it. Actresses will come out of the woodwork to play Modesty."
Also, I added the Message Board and the Chat Room today.

Quentin Tarantino was in Dayton, Ohio (at the Neon Movies where my girlfriend is an assistant manager/projectionist) though the holiday weekend to check out Cinerama--in fact, people were there from all over the U.S. and some folks from Germany and Ireland. If you don't know much (or anything) about Cinerama, I'll provide a link where you can find more information. I'd be extremely grateful if you could plug Cinerama on the site. Right now, Dayton's Neon Movies is the only theater in the country currently showing Cinerama flicks. The technician/projectionist, John Harvey, used to run his Cinerama rig in his house, before moving it to the Neon. He's currently assisting in getting a Cinerama venue set up in Seattle, and also helped get one running in England. He does all this for free. Anyway there have been a lot of rumors about Quentin's next film--a western, another Elmore Leonard adaptation, WWII. The manager of the Neon (Mike), one of the owners, and John Harvey had dinner with Quentin Friday evening (wish I could have been there) and he mentioned his current project. I talked with Mike when they got back from dinner and he said that Quentin is in fact doing a World War II film. His own Dirty Dozen, Mike said. I asked Quentin after the Sunday Cinerama show when we were going to see this new film and he said probably in 2001. He's half-finished with writing the script of his "epic." So that's it, pretty much from the horse's mouth.
